The ROAP Asia Finals brings to a close our advanced remote oral advocacy and cross-examination courses, by featuring the most persuasive and skilled participants on each course. The outcome of the finals will be determined by a panel of world-class arbitrators comprising Lucy Reed (President), to whom this ROAP Asia 2022 edition is dedicated, Sapna Jhangiani QC and Nicholas Lingard. The short bios of the tribunal members and of the finalists are set out below.

The event will take place on 1 September 2022 from 2.20pm to 7.20pm KST. It will be held online and, for the first time, in person as well, in Singapore at Maxwell Chambers, and be followed by a reception (after 7.20pm KST). Due to limited space, registrations to attend in person will be confirmed closer to the date of the event. Provisional event programme:

2.30pm KST – CROSS-EXAMINATION FINALS with Rebecca James and Gavin Neo and experts Rebecca Ruthven and Jerome Tang

4.45pm KST – ORAL SUBMISSIONS FINALS with Daae Kim, Pushkar Keshavmurthy, Joonhak Choi and Tze Siong Ang

7.05pm KST – Tribunal decisions for both Finals

7.20pm KST – Word of thanks by ROAP Asia Convenors Julie Raneda and Teck Wee Tiong, and faculty member David Thornes (Accuracy)
